Day 2 on the sti strip down. This STI has been hot, sent the heads away to the machine shop to checked over, time to measure everything up and make sure everything is still within spec. A fair few hoses are cracked and damaged for the age of the car so these will be getting changed while apart. These gaskets were definitely blown.





Sti engine ready to pull in the morning and strip down the heads and get them to the machine shop. Let’s get it done ✅ ....

2012 returning for some engine work it’s been 2 years since I’ve seen this car, customer unfortunately had a coolant hose failed which has caused the engine to over heat and fail the head gaskets, time to strip down and investigate.

Subaru Liberty engine swap down, bleeding the coolant system and check over. Ready for road testing.

Subaru Liberty in today for a engine change, unfortunately this ej25 was run low on oil and developed a bottom end knock.
Customer deciding on a replacement low km 2nd hand motor.
Time to get this Liberty back on the road. 💪🏻.

Called out to service this forester XT, unfortunately found it in a poorly state and will require some future work to bring it back to former glory.
Removed sparks and the end fell out! Found vacuum lines which were incorrect and this thing had been over fueling.
Fixed these minor issues and is running a lot better but a lot of seals and gaskets that will require replacing.





Subaru forester in for a turbo change, (previous owner got creative by trying to make one fit) and also rocker cover gas...
