HARDLINE GROUP are looking for a young, enthusiastic labourer to join our team, either before or after Christmas - roles include factory works, deliveries, and also site works. To be considered for the role you’ll need;
• An Open manual drivers licence - LR truck licence or greater preferable - truck provided.
• Interest in construction and willingness to learn.
• To be punctual and reliable.
• To be physically able to perform heavy lifting as required,
• A Forklift ticket (preferable), or interest in obtaining one,
• To be willing to travel across QLD and interstate if required - predominantly during the week, very occasional weekends.

Recently, one of our most valued client’s asked us to assist with a D&C job, putting a 40m monopole and a 200m3 monopole foundation in croc infested waters in North QLD... so of course our hands shot straight up for the challenge!!

With some help from our friends at , , and , we managed to facilitate a job which incorporated the installation of 400m2 of self supporting sheet piling and a continuous flow dewatering system, and in the space of 5 days, we;
* Excavated and disposed of ~750t of Acid Sulphate soil,
* Installed a 15t cage that was assembled on site,
* And poured 200m3 (480t) of concrete in a single continuous pour...

From start to finish this job was a MASSIVE challenge, but HARDLINE GROUP hit it head on and handed over the finished product ahead of time and without a single E/O charge... and DEFECT FREE! We even managed to save time & money (and a few limbs) by installing the sheet piling to double as both fall protection, AND Croc protection!

A massive well done to all involved!

It makes it hard with your team spaced all over QLD, NSW and the NT to get everyone together at the best of times, so this week we had a fair few of the field crew back in town and managed to pull off a team photo that has been well over 6 months in the making. To say I’m wrapped with this crew (and not to mention the ones not in here) would be an understatement! Couldn’t find a better, more dedicated bunch!
