⚠️ Cyclone Alfred Update: Important Steps Before & After the Storm
As Cyclone Alfred approaches, we want to ensure you’re prepared. If you believe your solar or battery system has suffered any damage after the cyclone, stay safe and contact us as soon as we’re back on the road for an inspection.

🔋 Grid-Connected Battery Owners:
• Adjust your battery settings via your app or online portal to set "Backup Reserve" to 100% to maximise stored power in case of grid failure.
• Complete energy-intensive tasks (EV charging, laundry, etc.) early this week to maximise solar self-consumption.
• If a blackout occurs, turn off non-essential appliances to conserve battery capacity for critical devices like your fridge, freezer, and WiFi.

⚡ Off-Grid System Owners:
• Use power conservatively this week to keep batteries charged as much as possible.
• Fuel up your generator and have extra fuel ready for potential extended outages.

☀️ If You Don’t Have a Battery:
• In the event of a grid outage, you will lose power.
Be prepared by:
Keeping your phone fully charged
Having torches and fresh batteries handy
Stocking up on bags of ice to help preserve perishable food
Keeping a battery-powered radio ready for updates
