Everyone's worried AI is going to take their job.
Meanwhile, AI is about to create a hell of a lot of work for electricians. ⚡

Queensland is seeing massive investment in data centres and energy infrastructure, with one proposed Western Downs project potentially requiring 2.16GW of power.

AI needs servers. 🤖
Servers need electricity. ⚡
Electricity needs people. 👷

Electricians, HV crews, Spotters,Project crews.
People on the ground making it happen.

So maybe the question isn't:
“Will AI take our jobs?”

Maybe it's:
“Who is going to build the infrastructure AI needs?” 🏗️

The future might be digital.
Building it is still very much hands-on.

It's a heartbreaking reminder that powerlines remain one of the biggest hazards on construction and civil worksites.

✔️ Are exclusion zones in place?
✔️ Is an electrical spotter required?
