☀️ Teaching the Next Generation About Energy

Last week Paul & I had the privilege of visiting our Son's Kindy to teach the children about solar energy, batteries, and electric vehicles.

Rather than a traditional presentation, we made it hands-on, interactive, and fun.

The children learned how energy travels from:

☀️ The Sun
➡️ 🏠 Solar Panels
➡️ 🏡 The House
➡️ 🔋 The Battery
➡️ 🚗 The Electric Car

The highlight was our "Energy Balls" game, where the children became each part of a solar-powered home and worked together to move "sunshine energy" through the system. By the end, they could confidently explain how solar panels collect energy from the sun and how batteries store it for later.

It's amazing how quickly young minds grasp big concepts when they're presented in a simple, visual, and engaging way.

As our energy system continues to evolve, helping children understand where energy comes from, how it's used, and how we can look after our planet is more important than ever.
