As part of a highway upgrade in Bonville, New South Wales, Australia, a dedicated wildlife overpass was constructed to support safer animal crossings while maintaining road connectivity.

Maccaferri's Gabions were implemented as a mass gravity retaining wall system, providing structural stability, effective earth retention, and enhanced corrosion resistance.

The solution demonstrates how engineered infrastructure can deliver long-term durability and structural performance while supporting wildlife protection and environmental sustainability.
