PROJECT UPDATE | Fortitude Village, Brisbane

Our roof replacement project at Fortitude Village is officially underway, with plenty happening on site.

We’re delivering a full re-roof and associated works, including new roof sheeting and flashings, upgraded fire separation, and replacement box gutters and gutters to help future-proof the building long term.

In this video, our Project Manager Matt talks through the project, what’s involved and what we do here at McNab Building Services. Safe to say he knows this one better than anyone.

Working within a live environment takes careful planning and practical solutions, like the one here at Fortitude Village which includes a custom catwalk linking the two buildings together to create a safe and viable outcome while day-to-day operations continue below.

Our current project at Surfers International is well underway!

We’re on site delivering a full refurbishment in the heart of Surfers Paradise, and things are starting to take shape.

From demolition and internal make-good works through to upgraded lighting, new BBQ area, appliances, fittings and splashbacks, sauna refurbishment, new flooring throughout, and brand-new balustrading, this one’s a full transformation in progress.

Seeing it from above really shows the scale of what’s happening on site and we’re just getting started.

More updates to come as we continue bringing this space back to life.

A great example of the custom, bespoke refurbishment solutions we love delivering.

At Number One in Hastings Street Noosa, we were working with a steep 30-degree incline and tight site access, far from a standard setup. Rather than forcing a typical approach, we refurbished the existing inclinator system with a custom solution designed specifically for the conditions on site.

It’s a good reminder that the more complex the challenge, the smarter and more considered the solution needs to be.

We’ll admit that he’s been a bit quiet on here lately, but that’s only because he’s been busy delivering our project at Oceana On Broadbeach.

From coordinating trades, managing performance and aligning with HSEQ standards, Guy drives projects to completion on time all whilst exceeding client expectations.
