Fosterville Gold Mine will commence reconnaissance exploration across Goornong, Elmore, Diggora and Lockington areas in early November 2026.

If you live or travel through these areas, you may see our Exploration Team and geophysical technicians conducting an Induced Polarisation (IP) Surveys.

Last week, FGM's Emergency Response Team headed to South Australia to compete in South Australian Mines Emergency Response Competition for the very first time. And they certainly made their mark!

Taking on a range of realistic emergency scenarios alongside other mine rescue teams, our crew came away with some fantastic results:
🥈 2nd place – Road Crash Rescue
🥈 2nd place – Fire Fighting

A special shout-out also goes to our very own Casey Barczynski, who competed as part of the ISH24 Women's Team and achieved:
🥇 1st place – Mass Casualty
🥈 2nd place – Search and Rescue

While the results are worth celebrating, the experience was just as valuable. The competition gave our team the chance to put their training to the test, tackle unfamiliar challenges and learn from other emergency response teams.

It's all about building skills, sharing knowledge and bringing that experience back to Fosterville to keep strengthening our emergency response capabilities.

A huge congratulations to the team and Casey on a fantastic first SAMERC! And a big thank you to everyone who helped them prepare. 💛

The Bendigo Agricultural Show Society is underway, and we're ready for a GOLDEN couple of days! ✨⛏️

Our FGM team is back at the show, giving visitors of all ages the chance to experience gold panning and discover some real gold.

Whether you've tried it before or it's your first time, come and say hello to our friendly team, have a chat and see what you can uncover. 👋

📍 Where to find us: We're set up between the livestock pavilion and the oval, near the animals. Just look out for the Agnico Eagle Fosterville marquee and gold panning signs!

We’re hiring! 👋

We’re looking for a local Environmental Technician to join our Environment team at Fosterville Gold Mine on a casual basis.

The role will support our environmental noise monitoring program, with a mix of field and office-based work. No formal qualifications are required, but you’ll need to live in the area surrounding Fosterville Gold Mine, have a valid manual driver’s licence and be comfortable working flexible hours, including some evening and night work.

100 years of Kotta Hall, and what a celebration! 🎉

FGM's Community and Regional Exploration teams were proud to support the restoration of this much-loved local hall, helping ensure it continues to be a place for the Kotta community to come together for many years to come.

Earlier this month, more than 100 people gathered to celebrate the hall's centenary, with past and present residents sharing stories, reminiscing about old times and catching up with familiar faces.

Built in 1926, Kotta Hall has seen its fair share of celebrations over the years, from community dances and weddings to Christmas gatherings and local events. And judging by the stories shared over the weekend, there's no shortage of fond memories!

One special addition to the celebrations was a time capsule commemorating the hall's 100th anniversary, which will remain sealed for the next 50 years. A little piece of Kotta's history for future generations to discover!

Congratulations to the Kotta Hall Committee and everyone involved in bringing the centenary celebrations together. Here's to another 100 years of memories being made! 👏
