Another lovely deck renovation recently completed by Hamlin Constructions! 🔨🪚

We had the joy of dismantling a rotting and dangerous deck to repair only what was necessary! This left only a partial replacement of a bearer, a few joists and the two posts which were in desperate need of replacement!

To reduce maintenance requirements and extend this decks life well into the future we wrapped the joists in a protective tape, and made use of Ekodeck as the boards!

This past week we had the opportunity to level this concrete floor as well as finish it off with a lovely floating floor!

This turned out fantastic, using Davco leveller we were able to get this all within 1-2mm throughout. Making laying the floating floor and rolling out our underlay super simple!

This took two days in total, One for the leveller and to dry, then only one day to come in and lay the flooring, install skirting as well as a quick window install ready for paint!

During our week at Safety Beach Bungalows, not only did we build the outdoor bath and deck, we also did this bathroom conversion in under 3 days! 🤯

Due to adding the outdoor bath, the owners decided they wanted a more functional space for the indoor bathroom, so we removed the bath and added a full height shower! Utilising waterproof wall panelling and everything other item being readily available to get such a fast turnaround.

From demolition, through to construction, waterproofing and tiling Hamlin Constructions did the whole process! Making this simple and efficient ⌚️

Big week! ✅

We’re back at the Safety Beach Bungalows for some more fun projects! For this one they wanted a cute bath space for the private yard; but to make use of the existing plumbing in the wall!

We started with a strong foundation and galvanised posts for the weight of this bath! And a big solid frame, we even were able to re-use the existing stairs 🤩

This one took only two days for Aidan to complete, we’ll post the next 3 soon 🔨🪚

Last day at the Lakes Resort in Toukley for a couple of weeks! 😮‍💨

This has been a massive project to say the least, from converting a house into a multi room accommodation, as well as multiple bathrooms created.

Not to mention the two garage to granny flat conversions we completed!!

Nice to start a new project and can’t wait to be back here in the future for any other ideas they may have!

Check out this beauty!! 😍

This new deck and awning screams luxury. The owner of this house is based in Gosford and had an old deck that was LITERALLY falling apart.

We took on the project and managed to get this all completed well under three weeks and with only Aidan working on the tools!

A nice little garage fit-out we are currently working on.

We will be sheeting all of the walls and ceiling with plaster, as well as creating a functional bathroom at the back.

All sheeting, setting, and framing has been completed by Aidan!

Check out these storage rooms! 🤩

Recently we had the opportunity to design and construct some new storage rooms for the Lakes Resort and we are loving how they turned out!

Each room is fully sealed and water resistant to eliminate water entry during heavy rain. These two were both completed within 5 days to ensure ease of access for residents.
