Huge news!! Our planning permit for solar and battery storage has been approved 🎉 🎉 🎉

This is a big milestone for the co-op, getting us one step closer to delivering Australia's first community-owned wind, solar and battery farm.

The proposed 5MW of solar would help our shire achieve zero-net emissions by 2030, offsetting another 14% of the total electricity consumed across the Shire, taking the total renewable energy supply from 42% to 65% ☀️

We’d like to thank everyone who made this outcome possible, especially our landowners, the Liversidge family, the Victorian Government's Renewable Communities Program, and our partners for their technical expertise.
