We're proud to have signed the Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation Noongar Cultural Heritage Agreement.

The agreement establishes a clear framework for how we work together to identify, protect and manage cultural heritage at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations with the Traditional Custodians represented by Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation.

Talison Open Day 2026

Join us on Saturday 19 September for a free community event and discover the people, skill and innovation behind our Greenbushes operation.

This year, we're bringing Open Day into the heart of Greenbushes, with interactive displays, family activities and entertainment at the Greenbushes School Oval.

We're also introducing a new shuttle bus service to our internal mine lookout, making it easier than ever to experience the operation firsthand, with no bookings required.

For the past nine years we've been proud to support Foodbank WA's School Breakfast Program and the positive impact it has for students, families and schools across the South West.

We are proud to recognise Talison for their long‑standing support of our School Breakfast Program in the Bunbury region 🍎🥛 Since 2018, their support has helped us deliver fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy to local schools, giving children the nourishment they need to focus, learn and thrive.

In 2025, our School Breakfast Program made a real difference across Western Australia:
🍎 342,802 kilograms of food supplied
📚 28,904 students supported
🎒562 schools reached
🚗 692,594 kilometres travelled across 136 towns and communities

Earlier today, a fire at CGP3 at the Greenbushes Lithium Operation was safely contained and extinguished. All employees and contractors were evacuated safely and everyone has been accounted for. We thank our Emergency Services team and workforce for their swift response and cooperation.

We’ve partnered with Voconiq to bring the Local Voices survey to communities across the South West as part of our commitment to being a better neighbour.

The Local Voices survey focuses on listening to the perspectives of local people connected to the Greenbushes Lithium Operation, helping us understand what matters most to the communities around us.

By taking part in the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to help decide how $5,000 is distributed across four selected not for profit organisations. You’ll receive 10 tokens to allocate to one or more organisations based on your preferences.

At Talison, the work we do at our Greenbushes Lithium Operation helps power millions of electric vehicles travelling roads around the world. Through Talison’s investment in a local community initiative, that global contribution is now visible closer to home.

We’ve supported the Bridgetown Greenbushes Business and Tourism Association (BGTA) with funding to deliver the region’s new ultrafast EV charging station - a project that supports cleaner transport and brings practical benefits to the local community.

Projects like this reflect our purpose of enabling a better future and the connection between what we do at Greenbushes and the communities around us.
