Mick and Tash had the pleasure of joining the Joey Scout group last Wednesday afternoon where they chatted to Group Leader Nat about the donation and what it means for The Centenary Scouts. Nat expressed her gratitude on behalf of the group and said that the money would go towards a much-needed new sign for the entrance of the scout den, something that will welcome current and future Scouts for years to come.

⛵️• Congratulations to Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club being named finalists for the Club of the Year Cat B Award in the 2026 Queensland Sailing Awards.
✨Being named a finalist is a significant achievement and a reflection of the contribution made to sailing in Queensland.
- The Awards night is on Friday, 11th September, and we wish the Club the best of Luck.

🏉 • Congratulations to the Gympie Cats AFL 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 team for making it all the way to the Semi Final knock out round yesterday, playing Redcliffe in a nail biting game.
Unfortunately the ladies didn’t come away with the win but they have done the Cats, the community and Offaly Civil proud of the season they have put in.

Nathan has just stepped up to a supervisor position for our North Lakes team and while the MVP award is usually only awarded to ground crew employees, we all agree that this is well deserved recognition for the teamwork, reliability and dedication that Nathan showed his fellow workmates prior to becoming a supervisor.

This weekend marked the first of four race weekends for the Offaly Civil Engineering Junior Race Series at Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club.

With picture perfect Noosa weather and a huge turnout of around 23 boats, the first two races of the eight race series were a huge success.

To understand the strength of any sporting club, the first place to look is the grassroots, as this is the window into the future. Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club is bursting with young sailing talent, with current and future national champions under the stewardship of Sam and Barry and the rest of the fantastic junior coaching staff.

This club is a perfect example of what can be achieved with a strong focus on the next generation of young athletes.

We are incredibly proud and grateful to be able to help the club continue its amazing work with young sailors.

The club runs after school sailing clinics most days during school term, catering to all levels, from beginners who've never set foot in a boat to experienced dinghy sailors sharpening their skills in the high-performance squads.
