Finchetts Plumbing was established in 1954. Finchetts currently employs 43 staff all involved in one way or another in providing expertise in the plumbing trade, advice on a huge variety of services and products available. Services provided include the following:

esidential and farm water pumping systems

👑 It's the only time of the year we can use this joke... so we're going to use it.

The King has given us Monday off.
(And no, we're not talking about this guy 👇)

We'll be open as usual today until 5.30pm and tomorrow from 9:00am – 12:00pm, then closed on Monday for the King's Birthday public holiday.

Need us? We'll still be on call for emergency plumbing jobs all long weekend.

What starts as a small leak under the sink is usually never just a small leak... 👀

This drain had built-up waste causing a leak underneath the sink and making a mess of things.

So we gave it the full treatment:
✔ Old drain replaced
✔ Everything cleaned up
✔ Re-sealed properly
✔ New mixer tap installed

Now it's flowing as it should and looking a whole lot better too.

Sometimes the jobs you can't see are the ones causing the biggest headaches. Luckily, that's our kind of problem 🔧

One of the most important parts of a plumbing job is usually the part no one ever sees 👌

James and Nathan B were recently out at Hopkins River working on the underslab plumbing alongside Huf Builders.

This is the stage where all the drainage and pipework gets installed underneath the concrete slab before anything gets built on top. Once the slab is poured, it’s locked in — so everything has to be spot on from the start.

It might not look flashy, but this part of the job is critical. Get it right now, and everything above it runs properly later on.

Good work by the boys getting it sorted before the next stage of the build kicks off 🔧

Project update from Yarraman Park 🐎

The Finchetts team has been out at Yarraman Park, just outside of Portland, working on the new equine shed project for Glenelg Shire.

This stage has been all about the roof and purlins. And if you’re wondering what a purlin is, you’re not alone! They’re the horizontal beams that help support the roof sheets, so while they might not be the flashiest part of a build, they’re doing a very important job behind the scenes.

It’s great to see this one starting to take shape, and projects like this are a good reminder of the variety of work our team gets to be part of across the region.

From homes and businesses to local facilities like this, the crew is always working on something a little different.

More updates to come as the build progresses.
