Sharing the original oil painting from which we collaborated with fine artist Katerine Edwards McCubbin to create ROMAN HOLIDAY FOUNTAIN PARTY NFT for the "Unmasked" Charity Ball.

Katie is a gorgeous person and super-talented artist. So happy our stars aligned.

We're donating 100% of the sales of the 1/1 NFT to the children's charity Friend in Me which does such important work, fostering inclusion and kindness.

I've been so rubbish at sharing here this year, but note self to improve for 2024!

Some of you (Tiff Gordon Sam Grayson Jette Anderson Dana Lazarus-Cass Heidi Callon Hine Richenda Hine ) may remember Jerry Grayson and I filming at NASA's Kennedy Space Center back in 2002 for an ISS Space Exhibit we created...

At the same time, we also photographed hemispherical 360 degree photographs for our own fun from all the unique locations we were given generous access to by NASA.

With the technology of NFTs, we can now release this body of work, and have started now...

14 Dec 5pm EST or 15 Dec 9am AEDT we're releasing these pieces.

From our "Kennedy Space Center Collection"

A 1/1 NFT we've created and donated to the Charity Auction at the Annual Hedera Community Party organised by Elisabeth Chase will be auctioned raising money 100% for charity.

Filming at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Kennedy Space Center in 2002 was one of life's most extra-ordinary moments, and brought JG and I to tears.

To stand here photographing with our hemispherical IPIX camera at the top of the ESCAPE SLIDE, brought home the bravery, enormity and perilous nature of manned space flight.

In the event of a fire or other catastrophic event during the final stages of a launch countdown, the Shuttle astronauts had to leave the vehicle in a hurry, cross to the other side of the launch tower, and make their egress via baskets on personal zip lines.

They travelled 200’ vertically and 1,200’ horizontally to the hardened concrete bunker, visible in this scene.

These hemispheres are photographed from the top of the ESCAPE SLIDE looking down towards the hardened bunker and over Kennedy in the background, and back towards the shuttle launch tower.

Both pieces can be bid on separately us ing or but if one collector collects both pieces, they can be knitted together to give a totally immersive VR experience of standing where we, and the astronauts stand.

And ‘yes’ these bright yellow buses lined up like waiting heroes, were intended as the EVACUATION PLAN from New Orleans, barely believable.

The team at KnownOrigin shared that collectors can now buy our NFTs paying by credit card, not just Ethereum. What could be easier!

Our NFTs are unique and can never be re-created, as we were the only film-makers allowed filming New Orleans, following Katrina.

I THINK WE HAVE OURSELVES A FIRST - if you go to Twitter we've posted that we’ve just heard that Known Origin have selected us to be their “FEATURED ARTIST” when our first NFT art drop goes live on Thursday!

It's also our first/genesis NFT drop, and I think it's the first aerial video drop on the KO platform, so to all you budding aerial shooters - stills and video - keep at it, if this OG can get into NFTs the world really is your oyster.

BREAKING NEWS, we've taken our aerial collection of work, digitised it, and during lockdown our team has created NFTs - sure you know what NFTs are?...

We're on the KNOWN ORIGIN platform, and sales go live this Thursday 24 June…

Here are two aerial stills taken from our video NFTs.

First up is DROWNED WOOD - the ethereal score is heart-breakingly beautiful and takes the viewer even further into the essence of the piece.

The Second piece, CAVE OASIS was shot in South Africa and when we showed this sequence of bottlenose dolphins 🐬 playing with Southern Right Whales to Captain Sid Chakravarty of the Sea Shepherd at our IMAX premiere, he explained how rare it was to see such footage. How blessed we were to see this interaction and to be able to share it in our IMAX film.

Both pieces were filmed with our good mate and awesome DP Warwick Field.
