We are proud to have been part of this iconic project. We wish the Port of Brisbane and all the nominees the best of luck with the awards.
We’re delighted to share that the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal has been shortlisted in the IAPH Sustainability Awards!
We’re one of three finalists shortlisted for the “Resilient Physical Infrastructure” category.
These awards recognise sustainable development in the global ports industry and it’s a testament to the project and our project partners that we’ve been shortlisted. The BICT’s design and construction will help it to deliver long-term, sustainable benefits for the community, economy and industry in Queensland. Thank you to all our principal contractors, consultants and partners, and all who contributed to the success of the project: the Queensland Government, MGN Civil Pty Ltd, Hindmarsh, Brady Marine & Civil, Arkhefield, Arup, and so many others.
Public voting on the finalists is now open – please consider casting a vote for the BICT via this link! https://sustainableworldports.org/iaph-sustainability-awards-2021
Our friends, Gladstone Ports Corporation and Ports Australia, are also nominated as finalists in other categories for their fantastic work. We’re sure they’d appreciate your vote too if you felt their projects were also worthy winners! 😉
