It’s been a long time since I last posted and I don’t always remember to take photos of my work. 🙄

I’ve had lots and lots of bathroom Reno’s including a bathroom in a house only 12years old with zero waterproofing. 😳You can see what’s happened there. Insurance doesn’t cover dodgy workmanship or work done by a non accredited trade either.

Fixed a qualified plumbers job, what a mess that was! New basin didn’t match the other existing one either.

Major renos in a home in Launceston with a couple of bathrooms and a beautiful rebuilt deck of spotted gum and front verandah. All windows replaced also.
A house extension and room rearrangement well under way.

A total rebuild of an old farm house out at Scottsdale I’m almost finished also.
Grateful for my regular and new clients. 😊

Yep it’s been a while since I posted but I’m still on the tools. Plenty of odd jobs, bathroom Reno’s, window installations etc.
I’ve just finished a large renovation in beautiful Bridport. Staying on site certainly gave me more work time, unfortunately no time for fishing.
Laundry renovated upstairs(no pics sorry) and totally gutted downstairs. A lot of damp issues as it was a poorly constructed shack with no plastic under the slab. Removed the entire cracked bathroom floor to find it was also
a slab on slab with reo only thrown between the two slabs. 😳As the rear wall is a retaining wall, walls and floor surfaces I have waterproofed and levelled, it was the only way to fix the damp.
I’ve removed the lounge wall and enlarged the stairwell window to glass bricks to throw some more light downstairs. Ensuite remodel and rearrangement, robes to bedroom one, fully insulated walls and a kitchenette for the games room. Other than the plumber, electrician, carpet and kitchen guys, I have completed all other works. A very happy customer. Next will be upstairs at a later date.

First time I’ve installed a flat pack kitchen. I’m impressed at the quality and fitted beautifully. I’ve sealed plumbing and repaired walls. No rats can enter now. 😆 New window, tiled splashback and all done. Some wild weather this week lucky I have a few regular clients waiting for my return for some small indoor jobs.

I’ve finished up an ensuite and small deck extension recently. Moved on to a lot of renovations for a new local owner. Building a new kitchen, new kitchen window, plastering etc. No wonder there was a bad smell in the old kitchen. Biggest rat nest I’ve ever seen! 😳

Still keeping busy with a new roof and rebuild of dodgy sunroom changed to open deck with roof incorporated, up to beautiful Scottsdale for another new roof, a few other small jobs, slabs etc for some locals and an ensuite extension and deck hatching.

Wow! I’ve finished the bathroom! Love the black bath with the matching vanity. 😍 The bling white tiles brights up the bathroom and toilet beautifully. I haven’t seen a fan heat light like this one but it is super toasty. Painter to complete the ceiling and I’m outside next week to install the skylight 🤞🏻no wind please. 😊

More to this extension/reno than the eye can see. I’ve replaced all the plumbing in the bathroom. Even the outside drains along with the local plumber. Put in a new bathroom floor, window and the exterior extended bedroom, I’ve had to shift the internal wall with robe and rebuilt to enlarge the bathroom to cater for a separate bath.
The most important part sealing the bathroom is done and started tiling. Something to be aware of if buying a home, ask who did the reno’s and check with the local council inspectors if they are a reputable builder and plumber, even if accredited. I’ve seen some nasty jobs of late, costing the owners a bomb, as insurance doesn’t always cover it.

Weather starting to heat up now especially when your working on a roof. Matching up the bays, I extended the other out about 10yr ago. Starting to take shape.

I last worked for my clients about 10 year ago with an extension to the dining/lounge and added a carport. I’m back and made a good start on their new extension/reno with a larger bedroom and shuffling some internal walls about for a new larger bathroom. Pleased the weather is improving brick wall coming down and the roof to come off! 😬

Yeah finished! I’ve been working on my clients house the past few months. The second home I’ve built for them as they sold the last one and moved down the coast to retire. I don’t normally travel so far but I have to look after my regulars right. I’ve been super busy on this one. Over this build I’ve completed the plastering, waterproofing and tiling. My clients checked out our spec house and loved the black vintage style tiles and chose these also. Built in robes and fitted off with colonial style tas oak skirts and arch’s. We had the pros in to build a stunning custom kitchen and laundry cabinetry. There are plans to do downstairs at a later date. I have some very happy clients.
I’m off to George Town next to another regular client to do a huge extension/Reno.

I finished off three sides of the reclad the fourth side will have a major extension and renovation later in the year. I’ll get back to that and show you the results after it’s painted.
I built a home at Piper’s River a few years back for my current clients, they sold up and purchased an unfinished house. It’s to lock up with Colourbond walls and windows in.
I’m lucky to be finishing the inside for the winter months.😉 Sorted out the frame with more structural support and alterations and now I’m hanging all the plasterboard. 😁
