It was with great sadness that we learned last week of the passing of Duncan Elsdon, Mossopโs former Commercial Manager and Business Development Manager, at the age of 83.
Duncan joined Mossop in 1993 and, over his 19 years with the business, made a significant contribution to our growth, helping build strong relationships with clients and consultants, secure major projects and promote the Mossop name.
Duncan was involved in many significant projects across South Australia, including the Ceduna District Health Service Redevelopment, ECH aged care projects, the Education Centre Redevelopment, University of Adelaide Relocations Project and works at the Womenโs and Childrenโs Hospital.
Many of the relationships Duncan helped establish continue to this day, including Mossopโs ongoing work with the Womenโs and Childrenโs Hospital, government departments and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
For those who worked alongside Duncan, he will be remembered for his professionalism, reliability and exceptional ability to build relationships along with his enthusiasm for a good lunch, a glass of red and a memorable celebration!
Duncanโs connection with the Mossop family and business extended well beyond his 19 years with the company, stretching back to the late 60's and 70's at Fricker Brothers where Ray, John and Neil first meet and worked with Duncan.
Duncan's contribution to Mossopโs growth is still evident today.

Colleagues and Friends are invited to attend Duncanโs Memorial Service on Thursday, August 13th at 2:00 p.m. in St. Theodore's Anglican Church, 46 Prescott Tce, Toorak Gardens.
