York Street, Sandy Bay — complete ✨

A full rear renovation and extension designed to bring light, warmth and connection into the home.

This project included a new open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, laundry, a new entry through to the lower rumpus, and a deluxe outdoor kitchen — all carefully tied into the existing home while creating a clean, modern extension to the rear.

A real show-stopping space featuring beautiful Taj Mahal marble, perfectly complemented by the flooring, with warm natural light flowing throughout the home.

A huge effort from the J&M team and all the trades involved to bring this one together.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve been hard at work on our project designed by in Tea Tree. As we reach the closing stages, we’re proud and excited to be unveiling the finished result soon, with the last details now being wrapped up on site.

The team has done an incredible job on site, with every single person making a huge impact. Special mention goes to and who made custom doors and jambs and all of the fitout by hand, for his custom steelwork and the remaining crew for going above and beyond as always.

We can’t wait to share the final results with you soon 👀 Coming October 2025 🍾

Farewell & Congratulations Brandon 🎊

Brandon Hammer has been a valued part of J & M Construction since 2022. From the moment he joined, his attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship set him apart. He’s been an exceptional employee, always pushing for the best outcomes on our projects and leaving a strong mark on every job he’s been involved in.

While we’ll miss having him on the team day-to-day, this isn’t goodbye. Brandon will still be seen on our sites as he begins his exciting new venture — Park Beach Projects a boutique joinery shop for all forms of joinery (page coming soon 👀) . We’re proud to be supporting him as he takes this next step and continues to raise the bar in the industry.

We’re also thrilled that he’ll be joining us at the upcoming HIA Awards, where our team is in the running for multiple nominations — a number of which brandon attributed to.
