We're half-way through our winter break... less than 3 weeks and we're back in Hobart.

Looking back, there was new gearbox, suspension upgrade, engine and transmission services, and caravaning preparations. Before we got to this point 4000Kms into our journey in central Australia.

What's furry and puts a car in limp mode?

If you guessed rat, you're a 100% right.
This foot long rat was found blocking the air intake tube going to the airbox. Causing the error code P0299 turbo charger under boost condition. This turbo diesel ute was at a snails pace.

Winter is definitely here and our rodent friends are make warm engine bays a cosy places to stay. This winter leave your plastic engine cover off to prevent them nesting and chewing wires.
