Coby Update 🐾

It’s been a little while since our last Coby update, and these days he’s calling Gapuwiyak home.

You’ll usually find him cruising around site with the crew in his earmuffs and work hat, making sure everyone’s doing their job properly 👀

When he’s not supervising works, he’s chasing pats around camp, following the boys between jobs, or stretched out asleep after a hard day on site.

Still the furriest and most loved member of the team 💙

The Milingimbi camp is almost ready!

Relocating the demountables from Galuwinku was a huge operation. Over two barge trips, the team coordinated trailers, prime movers, a loader, and concrete blocks to get every demountable safely across the water and into position on site.

All internal fit outs are complete, and the demountables are fully ready for use. Only a few minor civil works remain before the camp is officially handed over.

A massive shout-out to everyone involved, the planning, teamwork, and effort it took to get these demountables in place was next level!

Demolition works underway in Milingimbi!
We’re currently demolishing three dwellings, with an unexpected site visit from BJ the local buffalo 🐃
No PPE or induction required, clearly in charge regardless.
Works paused briefly, inspection completed, and we made sure BJ had a quick lesson on PPE for his next site inspection before moving on.
