💡 Building and waterproofing consultant💡

🖊️Role Description
➖This is a full-time role for a Building and Waterproofing Consultant
➖Your office will be located in Hornsby, NSW
➖As a Building and Waterproofing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on building and waterproofing issues, undertaking site inspections, highlighting building and waterproofing defects, undertake water testing and any other required tests, writing technical reports, providing recommendations and preparing projects scope of works and specifications, reviewing project tenders and providing recommendations, as well as liaising with the internal and external stakeholders for project coordination and design management.
➖This role will also involve project management of our remedial projects during construction stage.

💡Experience & Qualifications
➖5+ years of experience in building and waterproofing consulting
➖In-depth knowledge of building codes and standards related to waterproofing, materials, building construction and design
➖Experience in preparing technical reports, scope of works and specifications for building and waterproofing projects
➖Experience with drafting remediation solutions, and conducting site inspections for quality assurance
➖Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical parties
➖Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
➖Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders on project-specific issues
➖Experience in project management and preparing budget estimates
➖Builders license or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is highly regarded
➖Registered Building or Design Practitioner is a bonus
