Old seperate toilet/bathroom demolished and renovated into a larger open bathroom.

We had to engineer and design the removal of a sheer wall between existing toilet and bathroom and extend the end wall 250mm to accommodate large double shower and bathtub.

This is a huge difference to the dated previous design and gives the owners a much larger bathroom space.

Norris Building & Construction are looking for labourers and qualified carpenters to join our team for ongoing works in the Darwin and rural area. Works include both residential and commercial.

We are seeking self-motivated workers to assist with meeting job targets whilst maintaining high quality standards.

Applicants must have:
- Experience within the building industry
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Hand and power tools
- Motivated and punctual, at times being able to work independently
- Ability to work to deadlines through effective communication and time management skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering plans and documents
- Welding experience is preferred but not essential
- Non-Smokers preferred (no smoking on most sites)

We are also looking to employ a motivated apprentice to start a career in Carpentry.

We are looking for experienced carpenters to join our busy team. Full time hours available to the successful candidates with the option for wages or to subcontract.

Our current work commitments extend to mid 2020.

Our company specialises in extensions, renovations, commercial work and new home builds. Any experience with hot form welding and ability to read plans will be highly regarded.

In addition to the above, the following requirements are necessary:

- White card
- Drivers licence
- OHS knowledge
- Basic range of tools

Saturday steel! Works have commenced on a first-floor verandah extension in Driver.

This will be a solid one, with a couple of tonnes just in the steel structure.

Staircase fabricated on-site by the team to comply with AS 1657.

Keep an eye on this one as it progresses, as these are a very popular and affordable addition to the elevated Darwin style houses.

We have a few of these booked in at the moment, so the pressure is on to get all the lids on before the rain arrives! ⛈
