Well what can we say about 2025 done and dusted. We have completed some beautiful project and had the privilege to create some wonderful forever homes for great clients. After a dreadful start to the year weather wise we were able to power on through all the ups and downs. We are forever grateful for all the effort our subcontractors and suppliers put in.
Big shout out to our team members who we wouldn’t be able to do what we do with them. Special farewell to Sam who has been a valuable member for the past 3 years, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours back in the big smoke.
We look forward to another year with some exciting announcements in the planning. 🎉

☔️WOW ☔️ hinchinbrook now that flood waters are beginning to recede in some areas we can see the true extent of damage.
We understand that this has impacted everyone in our shire on all different levels. However we are a strong community and we will bounce back bigger and better than ever.

As we turn to the recovery and rebuild process we are ready to assist in any way possible.

Returning home safely is just as important as preparing for a flood.

Here are some things to plan for, before returning home:

🔌 Power – prepare for prolonged power outages. Any homes that have been inundated will need to be inspected by a licenced electrical contractor, who can also do any repairs required, before Ergon can safely reconnect them to the network. 🧤 Wear protective gear – Floodwaters can carry contaminants. Wear gloves, boots, and a mask when cleaning up and make sure you treat and cover any wounds.

🔍Inspect for damage – Check for structural damage, gas leaks, and electrical hazards. Seek professional advice prior to conducting any repairs.

🗑️Throw out contaminated items – Food, medicine, and soft furnishings that have come into contact with floodwater should be discarded.

🚪 Prevent mould growth – Open windows and doors to ventilate your home and dry out damp areas as soon as possible.

🐍 Beware of wildlife – Snakes and other animals may have taken shelter in your home. Be cautious when moving debris.

🦟 Mosquito borne illnesses - Mosquitoes in Queensland can spread serious diseases, especially in wet, humid conditions. Apply an insect repellent to exposed skin for protection.
