Sacchi Contracting is a proud, family-owned earthmoving company based in Innisfail. Since 2006, we've built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects with precision and care. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team immediately.
The Role
As an Excavator Operator with Sacchi Contracting, you will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a full-time position offering a min 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and penalties.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience operating Excavators, with proven experience in safely digging around services and final trim.
Experience operating skid steers is desirable but not essential.
Skills/Qualifications:
Strong commitment to safety, team-oriented, and a solid work ethic.
Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety Regulations, with experience in maintaining accurate records, including equipment usage logs, incident reports, pre-start checklists, and daily running sheets
Open & unrestricted manual driver's license
HR license (minimum)
Excavator ticket
Skid Steer ticket
Construction White Card
Certificate of Competency for operating heavy machinery
