$40–$50/hr + company vehicle | Field service + workshop | Specialise in John Deere equipment

Hiring a qualified and experienced heavy diesel mechanic. We support farms and other businesses and producers around Inverell and surrounding districts. Performing quality work with good equipment- general repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and component rebuilds specialising in John Deere across predominantly farm equipment- tractors, headers etc. Also often including small earthmoving, irrigation pumps, general hydraulics etc. Often working solo, or with apprentice.
Small team (5), well equipped workshop in Inverell. 65 odd years experience between the crew, so there’s plenty to learn if you want to keep sharpening up, and perfect if you bring something new because we all love to learn.
Must have: trade qualification, 5+ years qualified experience, strong diagnostics and understanding of mechanical principles, confident in working alone, driver’s license, and love to have a go

Preference: strong John Deere experience preferred, air con, willing to do some overtime when available and required particularly harvest and warmer months
