Hi everyone.👋
Well the time has come for me to introduce myself.

My name is Matt Box.

I've been working as a carpenter in the Ipswich and surrounding areas for 23 years now. Many of you may know me from working as leading hand carpenter/ supervisor for my dad as C&J Box and Son Constructions.
Producing many fine renovations and extensions to heritage homes around the area.
This year I have made the leap.
I am now a fully licensed Builder. Ready to take on the joys the construction industry has to offer. If you know me already that's great! I hope you'll follow my page and continue to support me and my new team. If not.

I specialise in heritage style home renovations, extensions, structural repair, traditional timber work including timber stairs and hand rails. Bathrooms, decks and pretty much anything these beautiful old homes have to offer.
I have 27 years experience and I'm here to stay.

Plenty happening on-site this week! With the bulk of the upstairs cladding complete . The boys from Jackson's Painting solutions are hooking into the preparation and have started to put some colour on.

Things are moving along nicely at our site. We have the house lifted and resting on the new Stumps. Site set out for the extension and majority of the foundations in position. Now we're digging out under the house to make room for the lower level. Fingers crossed with this rain around. Happy with the progress so far tho.👍

A successful day! We lifted off from the old foundations. (Stumps)
After a very muddy and messy day and lots of Jack action, we have the house perched on towers 1.1 mtrs higher.👍

Well the C&J Box crew have started the year off in form! With an exciting new project!
This gem of Queenslander is about to be transformed!
The project involves lifting the entire house. Adding an extension and also stage one of the downstairs build.
It's a challenging site and we only started back on Thursday last week. Despite the brutal weather we are well on the way to lift tomorrow.
Will try to keep the updates coming. Hope you can follow along and enjoy the progress!

We finished the new stairs this morning.
A pleasure to be called back by the owners after building an extension on the same house almost 10 years ago.
Very happy with the finished product.
