It's crazy to think that I've been in this industry for 12 years now!

It's crazy to think that I have personally been using Magic Kleen for 10 years and to think of how many products it replaced for me that I haven't had to touch since.

It's crazy to think that I have been stocking and selling cleaning products and tools for 8 years now! Aswell as being the only cleaning business owner to stock the Karma Rub magnesium range.

It's crazy to think that all of this is being done with my little storage shed, just me and no website yet you all still keep coming back ♥️ but I promise.. the website is there but I just haven't launched it LOL.

Success is seen so different from one person to another. My family is thriving, I'm there for my kids/family and friends and we are so content with life where I can enjoy every moment and not be suffocated by it.

"Can we just do that section once a month instead?"

It's a question I recently got asked... and I thought I'd share a real life example of why reducing the frequency of cleaning doesn't always reduce the cost... and can actually increase it.

Ive had this place for over 10 years now and recently a section that was being cleaned weekly went to being cleaned monthly while the rest of the factory is still to be done on a weekly basis.

📸 Photo 1 - After 4 weeks without being cleaned. Mineral deposits, urine staining and grime had built up significantly.

📸 Photo 2 - After cleaning and what it would usually look like after a weekly clean. This isn't just for the toilets but for a whole level of a factory but the toilets are one of the examples.

Now, here's the important part 👀

When something is cleaned weekly, I'm maintaining it. The dirt hasn't had time to bond to the surface, so the clean is quicker, easier and gentler. When it's left for four weeks, I'm no longer maintaining it. I'm restoring it.

Which this means more products, more scrubbing more time, more labour.. more more more at the end of the day.

This is why changing from weekly to monthly doesn't simply mean '75% less cost.' In many cases, each visit becomes far more labour intensive and the savings people expect often disappear.

As professional cleaners, we're not just charging for how often we visit. We're charging for the time, effort, skill and products required to achieve the result. Regular maintenance will almost always be the most cost effective option in the long run. It protects surfaces, keeps hygiene standards high and avoids the heavy buildup that takes much longer to remove.
