Powered Air Electrical & Air Conditioning Services are looking for a motivated and reliable School-Based Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high school student to gain hands on industry experience while completing their education.

About the Role
As a school-based apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced refrigeration and air conditioning technicians, learning valuable skills in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

What You'll Learn
• Installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Preventative maintenance and servicing
• Fault finding and repairs
• Safe use of tools and equipment
• Reading plans and technical drawings
• Workplace health and safety practices
• Customer service and communication skills

About You
• Currently enrolled in Years 10, 11 or 12
• Interested in a hands-on trade career
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• White Card (or willing to obtain)

Powered Air Electrical & Air Conditioning Services are seeking a hardworking,professional & reliable Air Conditioning and Refrigeration mechanic to join our team and become an Integral member of our growing family owned business.
Based on the Southside of Brisbane.

Scope of work will consist the following:

• Installation of new Air Conditioning equipment
(Domestic & Commercial).
•Fault finding.
•Servicing including Industrial ,Commercial & Domestic sites.
•Establishing and maintaining business relationships with clients and internal team members.
•Good communication skills and attention to detail.
•Taking pride in your work and the business while working under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibility will include:

•Servicing and maintaining Air Conditioning & Refrigeration systems.
•Working alongside an apprentice.
•Understanding maintenance contracts.
•Installation of new Air Conditioning equipment.
(Commercial & Domestic)

The successful applicant will require the following:

• Current Refrigeration Handling License
• Current Restricted Electrical License
• Current Australian Manual Drivers License
• Construction White/Blue Card
• Organisational, Communication,Customer service and problem solving skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Be able to obtain Qld Police Check

The successful applicant will be provided with the following:

• Company work vehicle
• Uniforms
• Company Phone
