About the Position:
This position is a combination of workshop & site work, with sites located in and around Kalgoorlie, wider Goldfields, Wheatbelt and Mid West. Candidates will have the opportunity to travel to sites located in these areas. Generally, for no longer than 5 days, and usually with notice.
General Tasks:
Inspections
Maintenance
Installation
Repairs
Successful applicants will be most suited have the following:
A class Electrical License
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Mechanical mindset
A knack for problem-solving
EWP / Working at Heights Certificate (High-Risk Workers License) OR willing to obtain.
Current ‘C’ Class Australian drivers' license
White card (or construction card recognized in WA)
Ability to solve problems
Work well under pressure
Willingness to learn and be a part of our team
Sound fault-finding skills
Good Work Ethic with a Positive Attitude
Must be able to Pass a Medical
Must have a favourable NPC (non-negotiable for some sites).

Goldfields Hoist and Crane are seeking two (2) suitably qualified electricians to carry out servicing, repairs and installations on overhead cranes, hoists and vehicle hoists through out the Goldfields, Mid West and South West regions.

The successful candidates will be required to have an open Western Australian Electrical licence, drivers licence, current WAH and Current HRWL endorsed WP.

Successful candidates must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and a national police clearance.

A fully maintained vehicle, phone and uniforms will be provided.

This is a residential position only.
