From leaking fuel tanks to a complete boat upgrade 🚤

Our client came to us with an ongoing issue: leaking fuel tanks that needed more than just a quick fix.

After working closely with the owner, we developed a long-term solution. The original fibreglass floor and plastic fuel tanks were removed, allowing us to fabricate and install **larger, custom aluminium fuel tanks that are stronger, more durable, and built to last. We also designed and fitted access hatches, making any future maintenance far simpler.

To complete the job, the tanks were pressure-tested and fitted with new fuel hoses and sender units before the fibreglass floor was professionally reinstated in collaboration with a local contractor.

And because one upgrade deserved another... we also fabricated and installed a custom aluminium hardtop roof, giving the boat a fresh new look to match its upgraded performance.

The result? One very happy customer and a boat ready for many more years on the water 👌

This little tinny came to JLT Engineering as a project boat with plenty of life left in it—it just needed the right team to bring it back.

Working closely with the owner, we transformed it into a practical, great-looking fishing rig that's ready for many more adventures on the water.

This project included:

🔹 A clean, functional layout built to suit the owner's needs

To finish it off, a huge shout-out to C Signs for the incredible custom wrap. They absolutely nailed the design and gave this little tinny the perfect finishing touch. We love supporting other local businesses, and this was a fantastic collaboration! 👏
