Recently completed rural front fence at Adare. A good friend of mine moved to a new home with no existing front fence, and with 2 adventurous doggos at hand we had to get something sorted fast.
60lineal metres of treated hardwood fencing all sanded and sealed with oil, all posts concreted in and protected below ground with bitumen seal coat for longevity. Galvanised, black PVC coat chain wire mesh, and either side of the gate finished off with some rustic sheet to make it stand out.

Been a while since my last post, but I have been plotting along with jobs so will upload some more throughout the coming days.
Recently completed a Deck in Redbank on contract for another company.

Removed the existing rotted landing and stairs and replaced with a 4x4metre merbau deck, complete with merbau handrail and black aluminium infill panels. The rear door was removed, opening widened and a sliding glass door installed to allow natural light to flow into the dining and kitchen. A flyover insulated roof has also been installed to finish it all off.

Ceiling lining under a highset Queenslander. Access was required for an electrical rewire. The swelled 3mm MDF sheets were removed and replaced with some more moisture resistant Fibre cement sheets.

I don't think barn doors will be heading out of style anytime soon. And it doesn't bother me, a timeless and budget friendly decor to change up any room with the added bonus of closing up part of the house when need be, such as keeping pets out, or reducing the workload of the split system aircon during these sweltering temps.

Deck board replacement at Tallegalla.
The existing rotting Pine boards were removed, followed by beefing up the existing frame with additional timbers, bracings, adding Screws to the frame to replace the nails which has let go causing the frame slide and drop 30mm. Finally the tops of the Joists and bearers were sealed to protect from any further weathering, Before relaying 90mm Merbau boards finished off with a Boarder and some face edge boards.
The balustrade will be replaced by owner shortly with fabricated metal balustrade, topped with a 140merbau Handrail.

Stairs, Balustrade, Eave and Ceiling replacement completed at Hattonvale late April. No more leaky gutters or fall hazards for young children. The 70's steel rail needed to be replaced to be in line with the new deck and to adhere to current building code regulations
