✨ Project Completion – Monash University Building 13D Refurbishment ✨
We’re proud to share the successful completion of the Building 13D refurbishment project at Monash University, Clayton. This project focused on delivering modern, purpose‑built spaces that elevate teaching, learning and research for the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Micromon.
This major upgrade now brings the School of Nursing and Midwifery together into a single, consolidated building while also expanding high‑quality research facilities for students and staff.
🔹 Level 2 – Enhanced Teaching & Research Facilities
The upgraded Level 2 now features:
• A new dry research laboratory
• A state‑of‑the‑art nursing simulation ward
• Refreshed amenities
• A modern kitchenette and lounge
These improvements create a more collaborative, functional and future‑focused environment.
🔹 Level 6 – Full Refurbishment & Façade Transformation
Level 6 has undergone a complete modernisation, including:
• Full interior refurbishment
• Upgraded northern and southern façades
• Installation of full‑height windows, flooding the space with natural light
The finished space now provides a bright, contemporary setting designed to support high‑performance research and academic activity.
🔹 Mechanical Upgrades – Designed for Efficiency
To support long‑term building performance, the project also delivered key mechanical improvements:
• Consolidation of existing mechanical units for levels 2 and 6
• Installation of a new, larger mechanical platform
• Upgrades to the north‑side sheet roof
These upgrades ensure improved reliability, serviceability and energy‑efficient operation.
