🎉 Project Completed: Wellbeing & Science Laboratory Refurbishment
Mac.Robertson Girls' High School

UCP is pleased to share the successful completion of the refurbishment of the Wellbeing and Science Laboratory at Mac.Robertson Girls' High School.

This transformative project delivers a contemporary, functional and inspiring learning environment designed to support both scientific exploration and student wellbeing.

The refurbishment included:
🔧 Installation of new ceilings and floor finishes
🪑 Custom-built joinery to enhance storage and functionality
🎨 A full suite of painting works
⚡ Upgraded electrical, mechanical and hydraulic services

These upgrades create a safe, engaging and flexible space aligned with modern teaching practices. The project not only provides a revitalised laboratory but also introduces improved office spaces for staff; supporting collaboration, efficiency and day to day operations.

A successful outcome all around, and a space that will serve students and staff well for years to come.

🎬 Project Milestone Achieved – Completion of Stages 2 & 3
BN861 Masterplan & DDA Upgrades | University of Melbourne – Film & Television

We are proud to share that Stages 2 and 3 of the BN861 Masterplan & DDA Upgrades Project for the University of Melbourne’s Film & Television facilities have now been successfully completed.

These stages involved the coordinated delivery of the building Masterplan alongside essential DDA compliance upgrades. Key works included:

✨ Reconfiguration of the existing makeup room to introduce:
▪ All-gender toilet
▪ Accessible shower and change area
▪ Green room facilities

✨ Expansion of the Rushes 3 teaching space to better support contemporary learning needs

✨ Broad DDA compliance improvements across all remaining Stage 2 and 3 areas

With the building remaining fully operational throughout construction, works were strategically staged and aligned with the University’s mid-year break. This approach ensured minimal disruption to staff and students while maximising construction efficiency.

A big thank you to everyone involved! Your collaboration, planning and adaptability made this milestone possible.

✨ Project Completion – Monash University Building 13D Refurbishment ✨

We’re proud to share the successful completion of the Building 13D refurbishment project at Monash University, Clayton. This project focused on delivering modern, purpose‑built spaces that elevate teaching, learning and research for the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Micromon.

This major upgrade now brings the School of Nursing and Midwifery together into a single, consolidated building while also expanding high‑quality research facilities for students and staff.

🔹 Level 2 – Enhanced Teaching & Research Facilities
The upgraded Level 2 now features:
• A new dry research laboratory
• A state‑of‑the‑art nursing simulation ward
• Refreshed amenities
• A modern kitchenette and lounge
These improvements create a more collaborative, functional and future‑focused environment.

🔹 Level 6 – Full Refurbishment & Façade Transformation
Level 6 has undergone a complete modernisation, including:
• Full interior refurbishment
• Upgraded northern and southern façades
• Installation of full‑height windows, flooding the space with natural light
The finished space now provides a bright, contemporary setting designed to support high‑performance research and academic activity.

🔹 Mechanical Upgrades – Designed for Efficiency
To support long‑term building performance, the project also delivered key mechanical improvements:
• Consolidation of existing mechanical units for levels 2 and 6
• Installation of a new, larger mechanical platform
• Upgrades to the north‑side sheet roof

These upgrades ensure improved reliability, serviceability and energy‑efficient operation.

✨ Project Update: North Building, Block B Refurbishment, New Running Track & External Works ✨

We are proud to share progress on the refurbishment of the North Building, Block B and the delivery of external works at Mount Waverley Primary School: a project dedicated to creating modern, welcoming and functional spaces for our school community.

🏗️ North Building & Administration Areas
We’re delivering a full interior refresh, including:
• Upgraded building services
• New floor and wall finishes
• Custom joinery and fresh paintwork
• New carpet throughout
• A reconfigured main entry to enhance flow and accessibility

🌿 Reflection Garden Development
The North Building will feature newly constructed external decking and screening, forming a Reflection Garden designed to support wellbeing and quiet moments on campus.

🏢 Block B Enhancements
Refurbishment works in both the East & West wings include:
• Updated building services
• New interior finishes
• Modern joinery and furniture installations

🏞️ External Works
External improvements across the school grounds include:
• New running track
• Goal realignment
• Construction of a new Gaga Pit

These upgrades will significantly enhance the learning, recreational and working environment, supporting a more contemporary, engaging and comfortable experience for all.
