A LiFePO4 battery is equipped with a BMS to protect against conditions such as over-voltage, over-current and other abnormal situations.

However, BMS protection is a safety feature — it should not be relied on during normal charging.

For better long-term battery performance:

✅ Keep the charging voltage within the battery manufacturer's recommended range
✅ Keep the charging current within the battery's specified limit
✅ Avoid repeatedly triggering BMS protection during normal charging
