About the role:
We are looking for a motivated 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at SCC. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of projects, including:
- Commercial and residential builds
- Renovations and extensions
- General maintenance and repairs.

As an Apprentice, you will assist our Carpenters in delivering exceptional carpentry services to our clients. You will work alongside our experienced team, contributing to all phases of renovation projects whilst developing your skills and gaining exposure to various aspects of residential carpentry and construction.

Key responsibilities:
Work with qualified Carpenters and learn various aspects of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and installation tasks.
Preparing and maintaining work sites, including tool management, site cleanliness, and safety compliance.

What we’re looking for:
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Valid driver's licence is desirable but not essential.

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at SCC. This is a full-time position based on-site at various renovation projects across the region. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional carpentry services to our clients. You will work alongside our experienced team, contributing to all phases of renovation projects whilst developing your skills and gaining exposure to various aspects of residential carpentry and construction.

Key responsibilities:
Carry out all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and installation tasks.
Preparing and maintaining work sites, including tool management, site cleanliness, and safety compliance.
Installing doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, and other timber fixtures and fittings.
Supporting the carpentry team during all stages of renovation projects, from preparation through to completion.
Communicating effectively with the team and customers to ensure project expectations are met.

What we're looking for:
Proven experience working in carpentry in the residential construction or renovation industry
Sound knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in carpentry and cabinet making.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to attend multiple sites.

Preferred:
Formal carpentry qualifications, and/or apprenticeship completion.
