The Invisible Details

Often, the best architectural details are the ones you’ll never even notice. It not just about the grand features… it’s about what happens where those features meet.

It also has to be practical, giving consideration to the little things (like consciously changing materials in a high-traffic zone for better wear and tear) makes a massive difference to how a home ages. By creating a custom reveal finished in a highly durable, washable paint, we retain that sharp, continuous shadow line while ensuring it can actually handle daily life.

Flawless. Unnoticeable. That’s the goal 👌

Veneer vs. Natural Timber…
Can you tell where one ends and the other begins? 👀

At our High Range project, our painters were tasked with colour matching raw timber to blend seamlessly with the supplied veneer… not easy and they absolutely nailed it.

The wall wraps beautifully all the way to the front entry, celebrating the natural variations of the timber grain while keeping the finish flawlessly consistent. It’s these micro details that make a high end build truly shine.

Passive House | Wildes Meadow | Intello Plus

Intello is an air barrier and v***r-retarder membrane made by Pro Clima Australia. Installed on the warm side of insulation in walls and ceilings to control airflow and change its v***r permeability based on seasonal humidity, protecting the building frame from condensation and mold.

It’s actually incredible how this works (and how well it works!) In winter the membrane tightens its molecular structure and in summer it expands.

Every detail is meticulously detailed and tested to meet passive house requirements, Intello definitely doing some of the heavy lifting ensuring airflow, seasonal humidity and condensation is kept at bay.

The finishing stages are upon us yet as we know, this is where it counts. This is where we slow down and zoom in.

Long before the first shovel ever hits dirt, homes of this calibre exist only in the client and architects vision. To be at this stage… seeing how the materials interact, how the early stage design choices have been masterfully executed, and how the blueprints translate into a tangible, extraordinary space is an unmatched feeling.

The team have done a phenomenal job turning a big vision into reality with this special project. Not long to go now.
