Peacock Construction and Contracting are seeking a self-motivated and multi skilled person to join our team!!
Peacock Construction and Contracting are a locally owned business servicing the North East Region. With a standing reputation for quality work and customer service, our business continues to grow. We offer a variety of services such as concreting, commercial and domestic building, renovations, earth works, machine and general labour hire.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following;
• Demonstrate relevant experience, trade qualification preferred
but not necessary.
• Own a reliable vehicle and own carpentry tools.
• Previous experience in domestic, and or commercial building.
• Hold a valid driver's licence.
• Working at heights, EWP, excavator, bobcat and forklift tickets
are highly desirable.
• The ability to read and interpret building plans and organise
workflow is required.
• Must be able to work unsupervised, but also be a team
contributor.
• Strong worth ethics, and willingness to work overtime when
required.
• Have a professional attitude with strong communication skills.
• Be reliable and trust worthy.
• Must have an eye for detail and able to produce high quality
work to trade standard.
• Experience in site preparation, machine operation and
concreting will be highly regarded.
• Our ideal candidate will be able to transfer basic building
principles to other aspects of our product offerings including,
concreting, earth works, domestic/ farm fencing and farm
maintenance.
Wages are negotiable and dependent on experience.
