Meet Makinnley 👋

Makinnley is a familiar face at Coastal Landscape Supplies and a true driver from the get-go. 🚛
He moved to the Sunshine Coast with us when he was 5 and has spent almost every weekend and school holidays in the yard since the age of 6, helping out, learning the business, and getting comfortable around trucks and machines.

After attending Sunshine Coast Grammar School from Prep to Year 12, Makinnley went on to build an impressive list of tickets, licences and qualifications, including his skid steer and loader ticket, white card, WHS Cert III, excavator ticket, Medium Rigid licence, Heavy Combination licence, and his qualification as a diesel mechanic. 🔧

Today, he works full-time at CLS as a driver and diesel mechanic, while still spending weekends fixing equipment and delivering. He’s also known for having the cleanest truck in the fleet, with plenty of polishing to keep it looking sharp. ✨

Makinnley is a huge asset to Coastal Landscape Supplies, and he hopes to take over the bulk haulage business in the future.
