🔙 Throwback to a Mining Innovation Project⛏️

Looking back at a project where Solid Engineering was challenged to improve the safety and efficiency of transporting conveyor structures in and out of an underground coal mine.

Our team designed and engineered a specialised trailer as an alternative to the traditional QDS (Quick Detachment System) structure pod — creating a solution that increased carrying capacity, improved handling, and supported safer underground operations.

A great example of how practical engineering and innovation can deliver real improvements in challenging environments.

Wash bay trolley engineered by our in-house engineer for a working load of 10 tonnes and manufactured here in our Kurri Kurri workshop. It is just awaiting protective coatings before it is delivered to the client.
