What was hiding underneath this horse float floor wasn’t pretty. 😬

The old floor had completely rotted out and was well overdue for replacement. We stripped it back, removed all the damaged material and replaced it with a fresh, solid floor ready to safely carry horses again.

Floor was absolutely rotten and definitely ready to be replaced.

Just because it looks alright from the top doesn’t mean it is. Always worth checking what’s going on underneath the rubber before it turns into a bigger problem. ✅

Another upgrade completed 🤙🏼

This horse float came in needing a fresh set of dividers, so we fabricated brand-new custom dividers, built to suit the float and finished off with a new lick of paint, ready to get back to work. I also installed brand new heavy duty kick boards as the old ones were rotted out.

Another horse float tailgate brought back to life. 🛠️

This one had the old tailgate floor replaced with a brand-new floor, then finished off with new heavy-duty anti-slip rubber to give it a fresh look and provide a safer surface for loading horses.

If your tailgate is starting to rot, feel soft underfoot, or the rubber is worn out, don’t leave it until it becomes a bigger problem.

From the outside, this horse float didn’t look too bad. But as soon as the rubber flooring came up, the truth was exposed.

Years of trapped moisture had completely rotted the floor underneath.
