From an empty shell to a functional, modern workspace.

The Skelcon team recently completed this Design & Construct office fit out for Scout Ecology in Maryville, delivering the project in just five weeks.

Designed by our in-house team, the fit out transformed a vacant tenancy into a bright, open plan office featuring a private meeting room, collaborative workspace, dedicated microscope station and quality joinery throughout. A burnished concrete floor adds a clean, contemporary finish while creating a durable workspace built for everyday use.

A great result for a new client, and another quality commercial fit out delivered by the Skelcon team.

We recently completed this Design, Construct and Joinery fit out for HLB Mann Judd Advisory and Accounting in Newcastle.

Delivered in just six weeks, the new office was designed to reflect the client's brand while creating a workplace that's flexible, welcoming and built for the way their team works.

Inspired by the circular form of the logo, the design features soft curves throughout the space, from the half round timber battens and feature lighting to the curved carpet transitions and rounded furniture, creating a warm and contemporary workplace with a unique identity.

A standout feature is the boardroom, which opens seamlessly into the breakout area to create one large connected space for meetings, collaboration and team events. From day one, the client was using the space exactly as it was intended.

A huge thank you to HLB Mann Judd for trusting our team with your new workplace, and to our suppliers and subcontractors who helped bring the vision to life.

Newcastle Art Gallery Café, delivered within one of Newcastle’s most recognised locations. This fit-out transformed an existing cold shell into a modern, open plan café with a connected outdoor area.

Working alongside EJE Architecture, the project includes a kitchen and storeroom, along with detailed joinery, stone tiling and acoustic wall panels, creating a refined finish that sits comfortably within the gallery environment.

Delivered over a tight four-month programme aligned with the gallery’s public opening, this was a great result for the team and a space we’re proud to have brought to life.

We recently completed this warm shell fit-out for our long standing client, Hunter Hand Rehabilitation, delivered by our Design, Construction and Joinery teams in just 5 weeks.

Designed to reflect the look and feel of their existing Adamstown clinic, the new East Maitland space was carefully adapted to suit a different layout while maintaining a familiar experience for patients and staff.

The fit-out includes a welcoming reception and waiting area, therapy spaces, plaster room and breakout area, brought together with custom joinery, Corian surfaces and feature BendyBois wall panelling.

A great result for a valued repeat client and a fantastic team effort from everyone involved.
