Las baterías de la unidad mecánica en un robot industrial cumplen una función crítica: mantener la información de posición y configuración del robot cuando el equipo está apagado.

🔋 ¿Para qué sirven específicamente?

Respaldo de encoders absolutos
Alimentan los encoders absolutos de cada eje para conservar la referencia exacta de posición.

Conservación de datos de calibración

Mantienen parámetros internos relacionados con la alineación mecánica y la sincronización de los ejes.

Evitar pérdida de mastering

Si la batería se descarga completamente, el robot puede perder el “mastering” (referencia base de cada eje), lo que obliga a realizar un procedimiento técnico de recalibración.

Protección ante cortes de energía
En caso de fallas eléctricas o paros prolongados, aseguran que el robot conserve su memoria de posición.

⚠️ ¿Qué pasa si la batería falla?

Aparece alarma de batería baja.

Puede perderse la referencia de ejes.

Se requiere procedimiento de mastering.

Se detiene producción hasta corregir el problema.

🛠 Recomendaciones

Revisar periódicamente el estado de la batería desde el controlador.

Reemplazarla antes de que se descargue totalmente.

Cambiarla con el robot energizado (según procedimiento del fabricante) para no perder datos.

Xmas has come early for the team at Limestone Coast Seeds, with installation of their robotic stacking cell completed last week.

Automation Solutions was able to quickly offer a customer focused high function solution at a realistic price, and the robot was bolted to the ground within 6 weeks of first contact.
The robot will now handle the exhaustive task of stacking 25-40kg bags onto steel stillages for export markets.

Big week at Claypro Australia, with their new robotic bag stacking cell officially up and running!

This new setup is all about making life easier for the team. It’s taking on the tough, repetitive job of pallet stacking that used to wear people out, and it’s already showing its value from day one.

Tim from Claypro Australia summed it up perfectly:
