Slasher drive issues resolved and ready to keep on top of the property maintenance again 🚜🚜🚜. The slip clutch on this Howard nugget slasher had definitely seen its last days. After grinding metal on metal for some time an entire assembly replacement was needed. Initial enquiries were looking at a 2 week lead time, but I was able to source an over night delivery from a dealer in Tamworth to get this customer up and running. Not a complicated job, but without this slasher it wouldn't be too long before the property got out of control.

Hi, I’m Anthony, a qualified fitter and turner based in Largs.

I’ve always wanted to build something of my own—something I can be proud of, so I’ve finally taken the leap and started. Offering services both as a subcontractor and directly to clients for small to medium maintenance, fabrication, and repair work.

With extensive heavy industry experience—primarily in fast-paced, reactive environments—I’ve worked on a wide range of equipment, including:

-Conveyor systems, hydraulics & pneumatics, overhead cranes

-Crushing equipment, processing equipment

-Compressors, automated process's and much more.

For direct work, I cover a wide range of equipment, including:

-Pumps, compressors, bearings, brakes, gearboxes

-Hydraulic systems & components

-Farm equipment, trailers, machinery

-Select work on dirt bikes, cars, and trucks

As a full-time shift worker, I’m fortunate to be able to dedicate significant time to this venture, though I do ask for some flexibility with scheduling at times.

I’m passionate about learning, delivering high-quality work, and taking on new challenges. If there’s something I don’t know, I make it my mission to learn and master it.

Fun mini excavator job recently. The old engine mounts had deteriated over time, due to a diesel leak from the original plastic fuel tank, after it had become heat affected. Engine removed, new larger engine mounts installed, the owner had sourced a new alloy tank which was installed, along with heat shielding to protect into the future. On completion, we noticed the rod end seal on the blade cylinder was leaking. So as you do, removed that and rebuilt it too. Threw the cylinder back in and away you go.
