Bricklaying Apprenticeship and Labouring position – Full Time

Location: Launceston & Northern Tasmania

Pro Brick is looking for a motivated and reliable apprentice and labourer to join our growing team.

We have a strong pipeline of residential and commercial work, offer consistent hours, and pride ourselves on delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a positive team culture.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

● Is keen to start a career in bricklaying
● Takes pride in doing quality work
● Is reliable and punctual
● Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
● Can work well both independently and as part of a team
● Holds a White Card, or is willing to obtain one
● Has a current driver’s licence (preferred)

Your role

You’ll be working on a variety of residential and commercial projects across Northern Tasmania, including:

● Face brickwork
● Blockwork
● Architectural brickwork
● New builds and renovations

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to learn a trade and build a long-term career in the construction industry.

🎉 Building for the future at Bell Bay Aluminium

We're proud to have completed the rebuild of Next Generation (NG) Zone 1 in our Carbon Bake Furnace.

This is where we bake green anodes before they move to the Rodding Room, where they are fitted with copper rods and prepared for use in our potlines. Anodes are the unsung heroes of aluminium smelting – they're part of the chemical reaction that transforms alumina into the aluminium we use every day, from mobile phones and cars to household appliances and packaging.

Projects of this scale are only possible because of the dedication, expertise and teamwork of our employees, contractors and suppliers, who worked together to deliver the project safely, on schedule and to a high standard.

The project also delivered benefits beyond our gate, supporting local jobs, regional businesses and the Tasmanian economy.
