Joining the old and the new. A recently completed job where we got to extend an existing lean-to and almost double its size! It can pose a challenge at times mixing the two, with older work, lets say, not being done to the newer more modern standards but that's nothing a little time, patience and accuracy that goes into all of our pre fabrication site measure-ups to ensure everything goes to plan when the team arrived onsite for the install!

Posts for days! A gorgeous 3 unit development currently underway but unfortunately the soil conditions weren't deemed suitable for a slab floor by an engineer for one of them 🥲 Not a problem that over 30 piers and posts can't fix! There is almost a solution for all problems and if that solution involves fabricated steel products then we will always be there to help save the day!

Who doesn't want more usable space, and a mezzanine is the absolute best way of achieving this. With the amount of tall workshops and warehouses around, there is so much unusable and wasted space. Our client came to us wanting to transform an area of his workshop into something more practical and useful so we came to the party and designed and installed this amazing mezzanine! Once cladded in this will create a wonderful area to showcase their products and any other use that comes to mind.

We've had a run on powder coated gates of late and here are a few examples of recently installed jobs. One gate to keep kiddos and puppies in and another, more heavy duty to deter unwanted visitors. Brad putting his creative skills to work with the motorized sliding gate and decided to hide the motor inside the support post for a seamless clean look and lets just say, when he's happy with his work we ALL know he's happy with his work, as he keeps telling us 🤣 Keep an eye out for a future post with the sliding gate in action once its cladded and finished by the owner!

Small business, large outcomes! Its amazing some of the work we are able to achieve with our humble workshop arrangements and here another example of size doesn't matter, its how you use it 😉
A new concrete panel warehouse chock full of Travenco fabricated steel! Once again partnering up with the best in the lifting business, Cranes Combined, as always helped us deliver another large project safely and on time.

Yes we might be a small family business but that dosen't mean we cant give the bigger boys a run for their money with larger projects! Check out these pictures of a few jobs we have loaded up of late and sent off for blasting and priming. Once again when we require assistance moving large heavy loads there is only one team to contact and the legends at Cranes Combined always deliver for us safely and on time! Keep an eye out over the next few months when these larger projects are installed and more pictures will be posted.

Don't let the stunning sunny views deceive you, we can assure you that the sun was only there for looks the day this job was installed, it was a very fresh -2 🥶 degrees when the team arrived to start the install process! Once again we feel humble and proud that we get to play a part in creating so many gorgeous homes and this one will enjoy many family memories for years to come once complete.

We recently completed the lower lever steel installation on what will be an absolutely stunning home on the Tamar River. Slightly different from the usual, this one required stud welding (and yes as you can imagine, there were all sorts of bad puns thrown around the workshop haha!) for the bondek sheeting for the top floor concrete. The team will be back to install some upper steel work further into the build and enjoy another gorgeous day overlooking the Tamar.

Oh no, guess who's figured out how to post videos hahaha!
We use a desk top computer and a program to schedule and post our socials and just found a video button (and yes, our socials guy feels very pretty stupid 🤣) Here is a motorized gate we recently installed, self supporting with no wheels this 1500mm high x 6.2wide this beast looks gorgeous in powder coated Monument from every angle! We exclusively use Frank and the team at Gate Open, Gate Closed for all of our automation requirements. They only use the latest and best technologies, fully integrated systems and safety beams. Something a little different this week and its honestly something that we should see more often. In such a disposable world we seem to be living in, a customer was moving house and their stools didn't fit their new set up so instead of selling (or throwing them away) they called in and asked if we could cut the backs off them! With a little slicing and a little sanding the sharp edges away the customer had almost brand new stools again, perfect for their new house!
