HICAT Hicat has cemented its place amongst the top Aluminium tray and canopy fabricators in Australia.

Designed and fabricated in Albury NSW, our trays and canopies are strong and functional while maintaining that simple, refined look that we’re known for. HICAT MARINE is a Albury Metal fabrication business that specialises in Engineering and Fabrication for the Marine industry. The owner of Hicat Marine, Paul McDonnell, has years of experience working in the heavy industrial marine industry in the Pilbara, WA. He has taken the knowledge from here and combined it with his CAD qualifications and welding certifications and is now fast gaining a reputation as an innovative tradesman that ALWAYS produces the highest quality in Steel, Stainless and Aluminium Fabrication. With over a decade of experience as a boilermaker across Australia and abroad, Paul has a wide knowledge of metals and fabrication, from mirror finish Stainless Steel through to heavy gauge Carbon Steel. This is complimented by his qualifications and experience as a Draftsman. Having the ability to do all CAD drawings in house not only saves time and money but allows us to develop complex parts and produce all of our jobs to a very tight tolerance.

We recently handed over this canopy to a returning customer from the Southern Highlands.
While looking like a pretty standard HICAT canopy from the outside, what was hidden in the fridge compartment is what made this build stand out from the rest.
The most extensive 12v fitout we've done to date:
🟠Manager Alpha 100A with RedVision Display​

⚪️40 programmable channels, including 20x 10A outputs, 16x switch inputs and 4x tank inputs
