ASAHI - Photo Electric Circuit Tester

The Asahi Photo Electric Circuit Tester,
powered by a photovoltaic cell, is used for
testing the continuity of blasting circuits by
use of a controlled current (under 1 mA.). This Tester is recommended for all blasting
that involves electrically primed cartridges. Showing the tester being checked by

The compact unit is a self
contained robust waterproofelectronic instrument used byshot-firers to safely check their
wired circuits for faults, so
reducing chances of misfires. Power is from tiny photo cells,
not batteries, so it can never run
out. The power is so small that
there is no chance of the unit itself
causing problems, but yet it can
safely indicate whether yourcircuit is complete. Enough power
is generated from a standard
miner’s cap lamp to operate the
tester. The unit itself can be tested
to see whether it is workingsimply by touching a conductor
across its two terminals. There are no sharp edges or
protrusions to harm, as the contact terminals are moulded to the body
shape. The Asahi photo electric circuit tester is sold throughout the world and
