For more than 70 years, Lithgow has generated electricity to illuminate, warm, cool a

nd power millions of homes across the state and the country. Today, as a host community for energy generation, we inject more than $40 million a year into the local Lithgow economy along with out $1.2 million grant program benefiting schools, events and community organisations. We are proud of the contribution our assets and our workforce make to the economic prosperity of Lithgow and our nation. Since 2015, our purpose has been to ‘lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all.’ To fulfil these ambitions, our portfolio, services and business activities are evolving, growing and changing and we will look distinctly different in the future. You have long been a host community for energy generation and today you are the frontline of the energy transition. EnergyAustralia seeks to support the Lithgow community through the energy transition and support Lithgow to continue as a vibrant host community with great training for young people, employment, economic benefits and impactful community support. We extend an invitation to the Lithgow community to get involved and to understand the energy transition through our existing operations at Mt Piper Power Station and our developing projects Mt Piper Battery Energy Storage System and the Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Energy Storage System. Local Business Spotlight: Henry’s + EnergyAustralia

Our Mt Piper Supplier Series continues. This time, we’re spotlighting Henry Plant & Equipment Hire -- one of many local businesses supported by Mt Piper Power Station’s long-term presence in Lithgow.

Each year, Mt Piper Power Station contributes millions of dollars to the Lithgow economy through wages, contractors and local suppliers – strengthening the local economy while powering NSW.

Henry Plant & Equipment Hire has supported Mt Piper’s operations through crane lifts, earthworks and heavy haulage, keeping work and investment local.
