Fantastic opportunity to get together on a training night with local CFS members. Sharing knowledge, discussing issues and building relationships. Appreciate the work you do in Lenswood Forest Range CFS and Lobethal CFS

Last Monday nights training (14/7/25) was held at the Weinert fuel distribution facility in Lobethal.

Hosted for Lenswood/Forest Range and Lobethal CFS, Adam and Harry took us through the site in Lobethal. Their thorough explanation of how fuel is stored and the extensive safety measures in place was incredibly reassuring. It gave us the confidence that, should something go wrong, we could respond effectively and safely to bring any hazardous situation under control.

Adam and Harry gave us a run down of the truck and fuel tanker also. Strict safety on such equipment was equally reassuring. If an incident was to ever occur, we could take the right steps confidently to manage such events safely.

A big thank you again to Weinerts for having us, we learnt some invaluable knowledge.

It always helps your local firestations personnel to understand their way around certain facilities. It helps bring incidents undercontrol much quicker.
