Holmwood was originally founded in the Mid 1950’s to repair, service and maintain fuel tankers of American origin used in the Korean war and subsequently sold off for use in Australia. As the welding of light alloys was unheard of locally, the company imported the first aluminium welding equipment associated technology into Australia. From these beginnings, Holmwood Highgate has grown to become a

much respected name in the bulk liquid transport industry with a reputation for the very reliable equipment.

Proud to share the first look at our new liquid CO2 tanker, built in collaboration with Chart for Air Liquide.

This unit is a first for Air Liquide's fleet, and after such a strong start in Western Australia, they've since placed three more orders for cryogenic tankers with us. That kind of result speaks for itself.

The vacuum-insulated design keeps liquid CO2 at a stable -17 degrees and 17 bar, eliminating the costly internal inspections and cladding removal that come with traditional clad vessels every 3 and 12 years. Significant maintenance savings and significantly less time off-road over the life of the unit.

Three unloading points, NMI-approved metering, self-loading capability, and national fleet versatility built in from the ground up. Designed to work hard across both the East Coast and WA operations.

Recently, we had the privilege of sponsoring and attending the AfPA golf day in QLD. At our hole, we had the longest drive competition as well as charity donations available for the Pancare Foundation coordinated with Golfer Girl ™ ®

It was an incredible day all around with amazing planning, organisation and delivery for all participants.

We're in southern Italy this week visiting the team who manufacture our powder tankers, and it's always good to put faces to the partnership.

These tankers are built here in Italy to a standard we're genuinely proud to bring to Australia. We handle the finishing and ongoing support locally, backed by 75 years of experience in the field. The technology and craftsmanship coming out of this facility is some of the best in the world, and that shows in how the equipment performs.

Great to spend time with the people who share our commitment to building the very best in its class.

Another financial year. Another fleet of equipment built to last.

FY2025–26 was a strong one for the Holmwood team. From mining operations to aviation refuelling and everything in between, we delivered some of our best work yet — custom-engineered tankers and transport solutions built right here in Australia, for the conditions that demand nothing less.

To our customers, suppliers, and the team on the floor who make it happen every day: thank you. It's the relationships and the craftsmanship that make this business what it is.

FY2026–27 is already shaping up to be our biggest year yet. We can't wait to show you what's coming.

What an incredible evening!

We were thrilled to be back as proud sponsors of the Hall of Fame Award at the Chemistry Australia Industry Awards last Thursday night at the Sofitel on Collins.

A huge congratulations to this year's Hall of Fame inductee, Russell Schroeter — your commitment to this industry is an inspiration, and it was a privilege to be part of honouring that.

The night was a fantastic celebration of everything that makes Australian chemistry great, and we're so pleased to be a part of it again. Until next year!
