Suporting local charities is one of the privilages we have as a buisness

Today we would like to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to Rose and the incredible team at Coalroc for their amazingly generous donation of $2,700 to Mackay Pet Rescue Inc.

This incredible support will help cover the cost of our storage shed for the next six months and we honestly cannot thank you enough.

Many people may not realise just how important our storage shed is to our rescue operations. It stores essential rescue equipment, traps, carriers, food, bedding, market and event supplies, donation items and so much more. Without it, running our rescue would become incredibly difficult.

MPRI does not have a shelter. We are completely volunteer run and rely entirely on the kindness and support of our local community to continue rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals in need.

At a time when rescues across Australia are struggling under enormous pressure, support like this truly makes a real difference. It gives us breathing room, stability and the ability to continue helping vulnerable animals across our region.

Rose and the Coalroc team, thank you for standing beside rescue and believing in what we do. Your kindness, generosity and community spirit will directly help save lives.

The Boys at Coalroc have used the Xmas period with the assistance of Hardy Spicer team to give Smittys Pride and Joy a thorough service that included, New brakes and bearings all round, New drives shafts, All oils changed and a general clean and polish so she is ready to continue playing a major part in the safe running of events at Palmyra Dragway into the future.
